Arketi Group Helps Launch New Brand for HealthMPowers to Support Renaming Effort
ATLANTA – November 29, 2006 – Arketi Group, an integrated marketing consultancy, announced today it has completed a re-branding effort for one of its pro bono clients, HealthMPowers, formerly Kids’ Health that included renaming, logo creation and identity development work for the organization.
The renaming and re-branding effort supports the Georgia non-profit organization’s mission to promote health-enhancing behaviors among students, school staff and families to improve the quality of health and academic achievement of young people.
Nationwide, obesity rates have doubled in children and tripled in adolescents since 1980. Today, one in three middle school students are at risk for obesity or are overweight. HealthMPowers provides Georgia schools with the means necessary to combat these staggering statistics and other health consequences related to them, such as cancer and diabetes. HealthMPowers’ services range from interactive class sessions with students to staff worksite wellness programs, all with a focus on linking academic achievement with health.
The new logo incorporates key design elements that leverage HealthMPowers’ core values of helping students, parents and school staff make healthy choices in life. The logo communicates a “totally committed” HealthMPowers, an organization that is passionately dedicated to parents and teachers, and above all, children.
