Arketi Group Gains Additional Expertise With Industry Veteran
From technology to economic development, Peg Woodruff brings multi-industry talent

ATLANTA – June 6, 2007 – Arketi Group, an integrated marketing consultancy, gains rich experience with the newest addition to its expanding list of consultants. Peggy Woodruff will work with Arketi’s business-to-business clients to develop and deliver strategic marketing and public relations counsel.

"Our model of hiring senior talent has served our clients and our firm well, and Peg is no exception to that fundamental belief," said Sami Jajeh, principal of Arketi Group. "Highly talented, extremely driven and fun to work with, Peg brings a skill set that ranges from strategic development to creative writing. We are thrilled to add Peg to our team and pleased that she can provide our clients with excellent counsel."

Woodruff has worked in marketing for more than 20 years, successfully leading clients to significant revenue growth and bottom-line savings with straight talk, strategic planning and positioning, and innovative marketing campaigns. Prior to joining Arketi, Woodruff ran her own company, The Woodruff Group, for 17 years. According to Woodruff, her “less must equal more” approach worked well to generate targeted results for a variety of business-to-business and business-to-consumer clients, including the City of LaGrange, Ga., The Weather Channel and the BellSouth (now AT&T) Atlanta Classic (PGA Golf).

Prior to the her company’s formation, Woodruff served as the Director for Advertising and Promotion for General Sports Ventures, the corporate parent of The Athlete’s Foot, an international retail footwear chain.

Woodruff’s early career skills were honed at various agencies including New York-based Davis Fried Krieger and F. William Free; Miami-based Beber Silverstein & Partners, and Hume Smith Mickelberry; and Atlanta-based The Marcus Group. In these positions, she worked with a plethora of clients including Stax Records, Paramount Pictures, The Fontainebleau Hilton and Hayes Microcomputer Products.

Woodruff helped to position the Cobb Convention & Visitors Bureau as "The Fun Side of Atlanta," and worked on the highly-acclaimed and award-winning campaign for National Airlines, "I’m Nancy, Fly me to LA," which not only increased sales but also led to the opening of additional routes.

Woodruff’s vertical industry expertise includes technology, economic development, travel/hospitality, retail and professional services. Her career has been focused on brand-building, traffic-building, and preference-building, and she has won numerous awards for her excellence in marketing and advertising.

In addition to her extensive background in marketing and communications, Woodruff has been involved in numerous professional organizations such as The International Alliance for Women, Women’s Leadership Exchange and Atlanta Marketing Association. Woodruff graduated from the University of Tennessee with a bachelor’s degree in business and marketing.
