Arketi Group Wins 2007 Award of Merit in New Communications from Society for New Communications Research
ATLANTA – Jan. 15, 2008 - Arketi Group, a high-tech business-to-business marketing and public relations firm, earned a 2007 Award of Merit in the Corporate Division/Podcast Category from the Society for New Communications Research. Arketi Group received the award for its Arketi B2B Marketing Minute podcast series.
The Society honors innovative individuals, corporations, nonprofit organizations, educational institutions and media outlets that are pioneering the use of social media, ICT, mobile media, online communities, virtual worlds and collaborative technologies. These new communications solutions can be found in a variety of areas, including media, marketing, public relations, advertising, entertainment, education, politics and social initiatives. The award winners were announced at the Society’s awards gala in Boston on Dec. 5th, 2007.
The Arketi B2B Marketing Minute podcast series first went online in late 2005 in an effort to promote the firm and further its contribution to thought leadership. Members of Arketi’s team write and record all segments, which are posted on the Arketi Web site and syndicated through podcatchers such as iTunes. Arketi B2B Marketing Minute is currently the number one podcast on iTunes in the B2B marketing category. More than 9,000 unique visitors have viewed the Arketi B2B Marketing Minute and 15 percent of the total traffic driven to Arketi.com is the result of the podcast series.
