New Media for Top Executives to be Discussed at Atlanta Technology Executives Roundtable Event
ATLANTA – Nov. 14, 2008 – Technology Executives Roundtable (TER), an association that consists of CEOs, CFOs and General Managers in Atlanta’s technology community, today announced its November meeting will explore what executives need to know about Web 2.0 and new media. The event will be held at Buckhead Club on Tuesday, Nov. 18 from 7 to 9 a.m.
The event, titled "A CEO’s Guide to New Media: Understand the Real Business Benefits From the Hype" will be a panel discussion featuring the following distinguished Atlanta technology executives:
- Reggie Bradford, CEO of Virtue, Inc.
- Mike Cascone, COO of HowStuffWorks.com
- Benn Konsynski, George S. Craft Professor of Information Systems and Operations Management, Goizueta Business School, Emory University
The discussion will be moderated by TER board of directors member Mike Neumeier, APR, principal of Arketi Group.
"Web 2.0 is a critical element of a growth strategy for technology companies," said Greg Smith, president of TER and vice president and general manager, Xerox Mortgage Services. "At a time when social media and Web 2.0 are transforming the way organizations do business, CEOs who understand how these technologies work, will have competitive advantage over their competitors."
