Arketi Group Takes Home Five Public Relations Society of America Awards

ATLANTA – Nov. 14, 2008 – Arketi Group, a business-to-business technology public relations and marketing firm, improved upon its winning tradition for business-to-business public relations strategies, earning five awards at the 2008 PRSA|GA Phoenix Awards celebration.

The Phoenix Awards, awarded by the Georgia Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America, recognize projects and programs that demonstrate excellence in the public relations profession in Georgia. Arketi and its clients received four Phoenix Awards and one Certificate of Excellence at this year’s ceremony:

• Research/Evaluation for an extensive marketing research effort for the Georgia Tech Research Institute, which led to the creation of new organizational positioning and messaging. The "Problem. Solved." message was taken to market and has achieved enormous success, including helping generate 86 new leads and increasing web site visitor usage time by 20 percent.
  
  
• Marketing Business-to-Business - Other for the Georgia Tech Research Institute’s (GTRI) "Problem. Solved." campaign. Arketi and GRTI’s work on this campaign helped the highly-regarded applied research and development organization increase its contracts by nearly $55 million to $186 million – a 44 percent jump in only one year. GTRI also saw a boost in nearly every web site statistic with average visitors per day growing from 140 to 573, up 409 percent.
  
  
• Consumer Media Press Release for the launch on Facebook of the Market Lodge application from bSocial Networks, the leading provider of B2C and C2C software for social networks. In one month, the Market Lodge launch news coverage well-exceeded the media objectives, with more than 33 million media impressions and 68 positive stories, including the Associated Press, USA Today and The Wall Street Journal.
  
  
• Technical Writing – Trade/Business Media for Arketi's work for Cbeyond, a leading provider of IP-based managed services to small businesses. The award recognized SIPerspective, a quarterly column series with TMCnet.com by Cbeyond CTO Chris Gatch. The column has been cited in industry publications for its thought leadership on Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) technology, and has an estimated readership of more than 7 million.
  
  
• A Certificate of Excellence in the category By-Lined Internal Publication Article was awarded for "Cbeyond Moves Mountains," a feature article on Cbeyond’s company-wide half-day of service. The article appeared in Citizen, a magazine published by Hands On Atlanta and distributed to more than 30,000 members and supporters.
