Technology Executives Roundtable Announces 2009 Leadership Team, Price Harding to Lead the Group as President

ATLANTA, Jan. 19, 2009 – Today, the Technology Executives Roundtable (TER), an association that consists of more than 100 high profile CEOs, CFOs and General Managers in Atlanta’s technology community, announced its 2009 leadership team with Price Harding as the incoming President. James Davis will serve as the President-elect.

"TER is a dynamic group made up of some of Atlanta’s brightest technology executives, and as a result, facilitates the building of key relationships and the sharing of important business strategies at the highest level within our technology community," said Harding. "For nearly 20 years TER has remained one of the very few organizations where Atlanta’s technology executives can challenge and test their ideas through candid discussions about complex issues."

Harding currently serves as founding partner at CarterBaldwin, an Atlanta-based retained executive search firm. He is a principal consultant for "C" level, officer and board of director searches for public and private clients in the technology, industrial, finance, and not-for-profit sectors. Georgia Gov. Sonny Perdue appointed Harding to the Board of the Department of Economic Development in 2004. He also serves as chairman of UTG Solutions, the executive committee of the AeA Council, and on the boards of Industriaplex, the Technology Association of Georgia (TAG), and High Tech Ministries.

"Price has always been a valuable contributor to TER. His deep understanding of the business issues that today’s technology executives and companies are facing will help ensure TER’s continued contribution to building Atlanta’s technology community," said Greg Smith, immediate past president of TER and general manager of Xerox Mortgage Services.

TER President-elect James Davis is founding principal of Buckskull Partners which provides investment and advisory services to early stage and high growth technology companies. His primary focus has been helping management teams develop a more focused business strategy and associated market position to succeed in their market. Davis has led a number of Atlanta-based technology companies including TerraGo Technologies, Flamenco Corp. and Harbinger Corp. He also serves on the Engineering Advisory Council for Mississippi State University.
